Thanks to the special material properties, hanit is versatile and particularly suitable for use in harsh outdoor and industrial settings. No matter whether acid and alkali-resistant or particularly stable under load, with the right mix of raw materials, we can adapt the specifications of the recycled plastic to best suit the respective product or component requirements. With hanit, you can count on not only a sustainable material made from 100% recycled plastic but also resource-friendly and innovative production. At HAHN Group, we develop and produce everything in-house. This is important to us as it enables us to control and manage the whole manufacturing process, from selecting raw materials to the finished product. HIGH PRESSURE RESISTANCE
Thanks to its high load-bearing capacity and strength, hanit recycled plastic resists mechanical stress, deformation and breakage.
BREAK-RESISTANT
Extremely resilient and break-resistant, hanit is perfect for applications with high safety and stability requirements.
HYDROPHOBIC
Thanks to their water-repellent properties, hanit products remain reliable in use, even when in constant contact with moisture.
CONTINUOUS OPERATING TEMPERATURE
hanit offers reliable performance across a wide temperature range, withstanding continuous exposure from -20 to 50 °C.
FIRE PROTECTION CLASSIFICATION
hanit recycled plastic is classified as building material class B2 in accordance with DIN 4102 and is assigned fire behaviour class E.
MATERIAL DENSITY
Thanks to a density of approx. 0.93 g/cm³, hanit recycled products are easy to handle during transport and installation.

Whether modified products or exclusive product development: Based on our hanit Standard portfolio or our Technical products, we develop customised products according to your specifications. To this end, products are adapted for your application in terms of shape, size, stability or material characteristics. Or we sit down with you and develop new products from scratch specifically for your project. Of course, if you wish, they can also be exclusively distributed and marketed under your name and brand.

Each product from the product development division is a one-off, the development of which requires a wide range of skills and expertise in various fields. With our development team you are in excellent hands, as it is made up of qualified experts in a wide variety of sectors and applications. During the design process, our experts work closely with you and devise a concept based on your requirements. We also look at and compare alternative approaches to find the ideal outcome for you.
DEVELOPMENT AND DESIGN
The perfect match between customers’ wishes and hanit. Our colleagues in the design department know how to bring together individual customer requirements and the technical specifications of our recycled plastic in the best possible way. Based on a precise needs analysis and taking into account all the key parameters, we create high-quality specialist products that offer the perfect solution for the intended application. In the design phase, we use state-of-the-art technologies in the CAD system SolidWorks.
FEASABILITY STUDY AND STATIC CALCULATIONS
On request, we are happy to look into possible approaches to your product development within the framework of a feasibility study. We analyse the technical and economic feasibility of your project to assess the prospect of success and identify potential risks. The results show whether the agreed objectives can be achieved under the given framework conditions with the relevant approach - the best way of preventing bad investments and identifying the optimal solution.
MOULD AND TOOLMAKING
By having our own mould and toolmaking operation, we offer high quality, consistent production, guaranteed. Our state-of-the-art machinery is highly automated, ensuring maximum precision and repetition accuracy in the production of our hanit products at all times. In addition, our in-house metal-working and electrical workshop as well as various assembly lines and packaging enable us to map all processing steps up to the finished product.
PRODUCTION AND LOGISTICS
Our own production facility makes it possible for us to control and manage the entire manufacturing process. This means we are not reliant on external suppliers and can react quickly and take countermeasures when needed. Our production is designed for manual assembly and semi- or fully automated production and also enables products to be strengthened with various steel reinforcements. Besides serial production, we also take responsibility for the entire supply chain.
